Mapping/GIS GIS Development

In our Geographic Information Systems department we use computer technology to capture and analyse our digital mapping products, and to add descriptive information in database applications linked to the maps. Our services comprise consulting, design and development, and customization of fully functional Geographic Information Systems. We have ample experience in data acquisition and structuring, and in spatial database design and implementation.

We have carried out GIS projects for a host of organisations, such as:

  • USAID
  • Shell Ghana Ltd. 
  • Urban Roads Department of the Ministry of Roads and Transport

The GIS department consists of a team of highly skilled and experienced

professionals and is managed by four geodetic engineers. We have skills and experience in the application of GIS software (Arcview, Arcinfo, ER Mapper and Map Info), database technology (MS SQL Server, MS Access, DBase and Visual Fox Pro), and several other relevant applications (e.g. Avenue Scripting, SML and Visual Basic).
